Speaker:

Michael Garrett, MS, CCM, CVE, Principal, Total Health Management and Inclusive Benefits Practice at Mercer. Michael has more than 30 years of experience in managed care, care/case management, utilization management and review, chronic condition management, health information technology, healthcare quality, and population health management services. His work at Mercer involves optimizing clinical management programs, selecting and implementing new benefit programs and digital health solutions, and accelerating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through benefits. He has served as an author, editor, and contributor on case/care management books as well as the author of numerous journal articles in the field of care/case management. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Gonzaga University and a Master of Science in clinical psychology from the University of Idaho. He is board certified in case management, patient advocacy, and vocational evaluation.
